VERMONT SLEIGH RIDE
Saturday, February 3
Our day begins at the Yankee Candle Company flagship store in South Deerfield, MA, which offers so much more than just candles. There's a recreated Bavarian village to explore, see Santa in his workshop, or savor the sweets from the fudge shop. Then we travel over hill and dale on back roads into Vermont to be treated to a sleigh ride. A team of horses usher our sleighs down snow-covered country lanes, through maple groves and alongside a mountainside. We'll make a stop in the forest at a log cabin to warm up with hot chocolate near the woodstove, while tunes belt from the antique player piano. Afterwards, a full course dinner is served at the Old Red Mill Inn in Wilmington, VT.
