Duplo Building Blocks
EXCEPTIONAL YOUTH EDUCATION SERVICES
This is a new company that will be teaching the S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Lego Camps. Please note that children will NOT be able to keep any LEGO® materials. All materials used are the property of E.Y.E.S. and cannot be sold or distributed.
CAMP LOCATION: Ledyard Middle School
 
S.T.E.A.M. Works Using LEGO®
Children are working with standard LEGO® materials to problem solve pre-engineering challenges involving structure, levers, gears, pulleys, and other elements of simple machines. Your child will have the opportunity to work with and bring home evidence-based lab sheets to share with family to continue the learning process outside of camp. Projects may include drawbridges, flywheel cars and amusement park rides.

Building Up S.T.E.A.M. Using LEGO®
Children are working independently and cooperatively as they begin to explore simple machines using LEGO® DUPLO®  early childhood materials. Your child will have the opportunity to work with and bring home evidence-based lab sheets to share with family to continue the learning process outside of camp. Projects may include spin tops, motorcycles and hockey players.
AGE: 5 - 6 DATE: July 6-10
TIME: 8:30-11:30 am       FEE: $153
